Daniel Solomon Koff
Daniel Koff is a human-centered designer and Adjunct Professor at Olin College of Engineering where he teaches User-Oriented Collaborative Design (UOCD). He holds a Masters in Design Studies with a concentration in Art, Design, and the Public Domain from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Koff invented the practice of "social design" when he conceived the special major at Washington University in St. Louis (he also double majored in History and minored in Architecture). For his capstone project, he created the University's first housing cooperative, a project that solidified his notion that design can foster social change.
Koff's recent work ranges from urban placemaking initiatives to interactive art installations, from the downtowns of old industrial cities, to the galleries of contemporary art museums.
In 2016, Koff rebranded New Relic Media as Solomon Office to better describe range of outcomes that result from his approach, and to articulate the process-based practice that he has pioneered since 2004.
Nick Vandenberg is a multi-talented storyteller with an expertise in audio production. He is a composer, engineer, and player of drums, horns and strings. He's also a media maker, a builder of models, editor of videos, and digital animator. Nick's sense of timing is impeccable, and he applies the same rigor to his use of space.
Nick's music has been heard on the Nickelodeon Network, national radio promotions and in films at the Sundance Film Festival and La Biennale di Venezia. He has created videos for clients including CounterTobacco.org, the City of Lawrence, MA, UNC Linebarger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the band Bombadil. In October 2014, Nick appeared on WUNC's The State of Things and spoke with Frank Stasio about composing for film and his newest album, The Sweet By and By Bye-Bye.
Nick co-wrote The Path: Fall of the Pemberton Mill, and has co-produced and edited numerous other films for New Relic Media and Solomon Office including one for the Lowell Waterways Vitality Project that received over 40,000 views in one weekend.

- Stephanie Braconnier, Synthetica – Architect and professional landscape visualizer responsible for rendering the illustrations of each focus area for the Lowell Waterways Vitality Initiative
- Benjamin Spear – Designer, writer, and all around brand expert who collaborated on the graphics for the interpretive signage project in Lawrence called The Path.
- Mark Favermann, Favermann Design – Community branding and wayfinding expert for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, collaborating on the wayfinding program for over a dozen cities and towns throughout the state.
